Japanese bonsai pot by Yamafusa of Tokoname. Rectangle with internal rim, incised corners, middle band, green glaze and signature of Yamafusa underneath.

Informal information:

Wow, now that's what I call green! Remarkable deep, opaque green glaze with some variegation for interest, different on each side (better photo of one long side coming soon). Whilst this is a bit loud now, with some patina it will mellow out a lot and will then come into it's own. I can't believe this is just Copper, I'd love to know the recipe!

Condition: used, excellent.

Yamafusa aka Sanbo, Mr. Takahiko Koie is a fourth generation potter from Tokoname, the Koie kiln has been going for over a century. His focus is maintaining the traditions of the family, and also high quality, hand finished production pots. His pots are great value.
