Artisan made Japanese bonsai pot from Shouzan Kaneshou of Tokoname. Hexagonal Cascade, internal rim, windowed sides, cut feet, seal of Mr Watanabe Masami, master potter and founder of the Shouzan / Shozan kiln.
Informal information:
A great quality cascade from Shouzan, and a very useful medium size. The clay colour really comes out with a little oil.
In the photos the first and last image show the pot after a light application of oil to show the pot at it's best. There are some marks to one side of this pot, please examine the photos carefully. The price has been reduced to reflect this.

Mr. Watanabe Masami, founder of the Shouzan Kaneshou kiln, his specialty were larger unglazed pots, his son Ikko, famous for smaller glazed pots continues the family business.
