External dimensions:
97 x 78 x 39mm
Internal dimensions:

Informal information:
Great little pot from Satomi. The construction is thinner than normal, maybe half the thickness. The traditional Tenmoku glaze has wonderful depth and medium sized spider's web of crackle. Tenmoku is an Iron based glaze, Satomi has added an accent with a flux which shows a whole range of Iron based colours, from red to gold.
Satomi Terahata, Seto, still active. Daughter of Shinzan Terahata (Mazan) is a very popular potter, particularly her shohin glazed work.
Seto is one of six ancient kilns of Japan, Satomi uses traditional clay from the area, it is normally used quite thick and has an attractive warm tone.
