Informal information:

When I die, chuck a celadon bonsai pot in the coffin and wish me luck. It really is the most fascinating of glazes, and will keep me happy in the ever after.
Almost all artists who glaze have a go at it, and every one is different, it's so sensitive to clay, glaze composition and firing. The colour is part colour from trace amounts of Iron and part optical phenomena from Rayleigh scattering, the same way the sky is blue. As magic as a thing can be.
Here, Ogurayama uses porcelain to provide the most transparent colouring, his  glaze chemistry and firing reproduce a Celadon like the ancient kilns of Longquan - pale blue, no obvious bubbles, thick and unctuous. Suitable for many trees, I recently saw a shohin Euonymus with silver berries that looked fantastic in a Celadon pot.

Condition: Used, patina, excellent.
