Copper Bonsai Wire - Dead Soft Anneal - ≈490g Coils

Details:

All coils are about 490g, the 3mm has been coiled to a larger radius so that when you come to use it, it's getting less work hardened as you uncoil it.

The bright pink colour is because it has been freshly pickled to remove the copper oxide, it will darken as it re-oxidises. Limited quantities, if there's interest I'll take orders.

Background:

I mostly train pine pre-bonsai, and I much prefer copper wire for this purpose.

Having felt the huge difference between Japanese and European "Bonsai Wire", I knew it was possible to produce it, and I had the tool for the job - a kiln.

After talking to a metallurgist, doing some research and making some tests, I think I'm there, the wire is considerably softer, 2 and 3mm now go on easily with less need for pliers, and just as strong.
