Formal description:
Handmade Japanese bonsai pot from the kiln of Houzan, Tokoname. Rectangle with external rim, double lower band, cut feet, seal and nail signature of Houzan underneath.

283 x 210 x 55mm (10⅛ x 8¼ x 2⅛ in)
Informal information:
This is the first pot I've had by Houzan, some potters just don't come up often, for example Kakuzan - the last pot of his I had was ages ago and yet he remains prolific! Back to Houzan, this is clearly handmade with very nice details, and great clay with a bit of texture. I would consider this pot if it's the size you're after, Tokoname quality, detailing, and the interest of a handmade work from a less common artist.
Condition: Used, excellent.
