Chinese bonsai pot, Four lobed cascade, external rim, cloud feet, seal of Touinken (Tong Yin Xuan) kiln underneath.

Informal information:
Suitable for a tall cascade tree, this pot has an attractive, feminine form, the clay is excellent, fine-grained and having some colour variety in the grog. The fine cloud feet further accentuate this. Patina has built up somewhat in the lower third, which adds a pleasing sense of age.
Touinken kiln, Yixing, high quality Chinese pots. I am uncertain as to the frost hardiness of these pots, the clay does seem well vitrified like Tokoname wares.
In the first picture, the pot has been lightly oiled as it would be for a show or display. The other photos were taken prior to oiling.
Photos are taken in daylight and hence are variable in tone depending on sunlight.
Whilst very suitable for Coniferous species, it would also suit a flowering deciduous that had bark which contrasted with the clay, for example, a flowering Cherry.
Condition is used, excellent with patina. It would be advisable to secure this pot when placed on a bench.
