Handmade by Mitsumine Saida. Rectangle with external rim with lip, slight internal rim, lower band, cut feet, signature of Mitsumine underneath.
External dimensions:

310 x 216 x 80mm (12¼ x 8½ x 3⅛ in)
Informal information:
Super rectangle from Mitsumine, and all handmade. Clay colour is a light, warm tone, a patina has started to build up quite nicely. Calm, unfussy masculine pot that will match well with many trees.
Condition: Used, excellent.
Mitsumine, Miyozo Saida, born 1933. Worked for a large ceramics firm until 1965, started making bonsai pots in 1971. At first, production was all hand pressed in moulds, but later included handmade works using slab building (tatara). Hand made items are signed, mould made works just have the seal.
