Suishoen Hekisui (Mizukami Shozo), founded in 1933, famous as a master of the potters wheel. Production had ceased by the early 2000s after a generation of manufacture. Principally made 40cm pots, in later years made small and larger pots. Methods used were hand pressing in moulds and casting.

Shipping within the UK is included in the price.

I usually ship with Royal Mail, if you prefer DPD or Evri, please add a note to your order or email. There may be a surcharge.

EU: Please get in touch with me before placing an order. I will quote you a price that includes shipping and taxes. This is the fastest way to get items without customs delays.

US: Please get in touch. Currently 0% tax on import of art works and cultural items so the price will be lower, but I will need to quote for shipping. I'm not shipping pots over 12in to US.

International: - please ask for a quote for shipping. Any import fees are the responsibility of the customer. I'm not shipping pots over 12in internationally.

Price:

UK buyers: Please note import costs when comparing this item with items overseas! These typically comprise: the shipping fee, and, on arrival, you will pay VAT at 20%, possibly import duty and a customs clearance fee. My items are simply the price advertised.

Returns:

I guarantee that the pot condition is as described and will take it back if you aren't happy with it. Items are returned at the buyers cost & risk. Please be aware that most UK couriers will NOT insure ceramic items, however it is certainly easier than returning overseas. Please get in touch if you want to return an item.

Breakage in Transit:

Sadly, despite the best packaging, it does occassionally happen. Please prepare photo/ video evidence and contact me at the earliest opportunity.
