Bonseki sized stone from the Mizunashi river that flows beneath Mt. Hakkai. A super stone that exhibits a lot of the character of Hakkaisin. The shape is different, being mountain like rather than blocky, and the scooped out jagure nature is less prominent than other stones. It is somewhat of an illusion as is often the case, in that it is thin and best viewed from one side, and maybe a little to the left and right. From the side, the illusion is broken.
With longer viewing, the shape becomes beguiling and interesting. It could be a mountain or the moon rising behind clouds, and the streaking inclusions enhance that. I'm a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft, and if that means anything to you, this also has strong Cthulhu vibes for me! I always was prone to an over-active imagination.
From the reverse view, it's possible to imagine a traditional hut or rain shelter.
The daiza is very well crafted from sandalwood, particularly fine work in the feet and underneath.

Source: Mizunashi River, Hakkaisin
The Mizunashi river flows below sacred Mt. Hakkai, and is interesting because most of the time it's a dry riverbed. When the snow melts, or there's a big storm, the river flash-floods violently. It's this action that gives good Hakkaisin stones their character - they have mass suggestive of largeness, weight and heaviness. They have prominent jagure, that is, large hollows from being bashed violently, but softened by time. Thirdly they have mica inclusions or white lines of quartz. Hakkaisin stones are more often found as garden stones, smaller stones with character are less common.
