Hand made pot by Yuho from Tokoname, Japan. Nanban form with external rim, nail signature of Yuho underneath.

Informal Information:
A maker I haven't seen before, Yuho. A greyer clay with some 'burning' colouration that suggests gas firing, added grog and some carbon burn-out black spots add to the character of the clay. The pot is thrown and has some good character to it's shape, as well as a more 'Lid' like rim shape that is also different. The base is belied to aid drainage, and the drain holes are a good size.
Condition: Lightly used, excellent.
Yuho, Tokoname - No details yet! Possibly a maker of other traditional wares that also makes the occassional bonsai pot, these artists often inject new ideas to the forms inspired by tradition.
